This is my Monday. My typical weekday, for the time being, and the reason I don't have much time for reading or blogging:
7:00 Overslept, didn't work out, Get Up!
7:30 Grab a yogurt and some fruit on my way out the door
8:00 - 12:00 Count beans (just kidding, my work is a tad more complex than that)
12:00 - 1:00 Relax for an entire hour at Taco Rosa w/my coworkers
1:00 - 5:00 Work some more
5:00 Think about people who go home at 5:00
5:00 - 8:00 Keep working
8:00 Go home for a little break
8:15 Rush in the door, change quickly, go for a 30 minute run (trying to avoid what my coworkers refer to as "audit ass")
8:45 Water my plants, cool off, think about my amazing hubby who made me dinner
8:45 - 9:00 Enjoy my shrimp stir fry
9:00 - 10:00 Watch 24 (do laundry, dishes, iron, and clean bathrooms during commercials)
10:00 - 10:45 Work some more from home
10:45 Write this blog as a blatent attempt to win sympathy from friends and readers for the 13-ish hours I worked today and will continue working tomorrow and the next day and the next day....
10:45 - 11:00 Surf online for new job ideas
11:00 - 11:30 Lay in bed thinking about tomorrow, to-do lists, and Palm Springs (the light at the end of the tunnel - will be going there on Saturday!!!!) Stare at my ceiling and think to myself, if I were renting that ceiling and didn't own it, maybe I would have the freedom to do something fun and interesting even if it meant taking a pay cut? Note to self: Quit growing up so damn fast. Stop and smell the roses!!!
