Ryan gave me my first surprise birthday party ever - thanks every one who came! We had dinner, chocolate cake, drinks, and board games. I fell in love with our friends' new teeny-tiny baby English bulldog.
On the night of my actual birthday, my sister-in-law made me her delicious chocolate cake (note: I got two chocolate cakes for my birthday, how lucky is that?) and we wached the first two episodes of this season's 24.
Here is one of the gifts I got for my birthday - potted pink roses that, if I can manage to keep alive, will be beautiful on our patio this summer. They are a more coral pink color in real life. I had a hard time getting the camera to reflect the true color.

Awesome! Careful, though. In a soon you'll start making noises when you sit down and stand up. That's quickly followed by wondering aloud how this generation could possibly think of this noise as music. And then... you turn 25!!! :-)
